After graduating in 2016, I joined HGA’s healthcare studio in our Minneapolis office, where I also completed my H+W internship. I have gained experience in medical planning and project architect roles and have worked on a variety of projects, from designs for rural hospitals to master plans for academic medical centers. I was also part of the design team for the first project in Minnesota to use prefabricated wall construction in an I-2 occupancy. In 2018, I was awarded the Herman Miller scholarship to attend the annual Healthcare Design Conference. Since then I have gotten more involved with the Academy of Architecture for Health and have joined the Communications Committee. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow as a healthcare design architect and can’t wait to see what insight future graduates bring to the profession. [email protected]
